Following a month full of competition across three events, Hailee Woodhouse accumulated 10 total accolades, including five gold medals and five new records, which earned her January Athlete of the Month honours.

Woodhouse started her month at the Sanderson Classic, where she claimed gold in the women’s 300-metre event with a time of 38.47 seconds, which broke a previous U20 provincial record.

Later, she competed at the Knights of Columbus Indoor Games and finished first in the women’s invitational 300-m with a time of 37.92 seconds and 55.07 seconds in the 400-m event. Her results in the women’s 300-m broke a U20 Canadian record and her previous provincial record, in addition to a new U20 provincial record in the 400-m event.

To wrap January, Woodhouse claimed two additional gold medals at the Bison Classic 2026 in the women’s 300-m and 4×200-m relay event. Her performance in the relay event helped contribute to another provincial record.

Hailee Woodhouse was nominated by Saskatchewan Athletics.
